My view

Welcome to 'Bird's Eye View'!

When I was 18 my father handed me a Nikon and told me to get in the car. We drove through sleepy little Iowa towns and down winding gravel roads. He started me on what will be a life long journey of seeing the world through the lens of my camera.

To me photography is an art. The art of capturing a moment or a natural expression is what I love to do. I will give you direction and then find your personality within that pose.

What I see through my lens is no different than what you see every day - the only difference is I have the ability to stop time and provide you with those memories.

Contact me at katie (dot) reints (at) gmail (dot) com to inquire about a session.

...or find me on facebook!

Project 365: Day 70 F-F-F-Frozen

QUESTION: What companies have you used to make photo books? Did you have a good experience? OR, do you know someone that has? Please tell me your thoughts on companies or websites! Thank you!

lovee your photos...although I needed to go put on a sweater..:)

I have used several different sources for photo books. Unless a client has a specific requests, I always fall back on shutterflt.. Very impressed for the price

(on a side note, i got an email from you today with a link in it for some viagra meds. i just wanted to let you know that your pc may have been attacked or given a virus or hi-jacked for your email addresses, etc. i didn't think you'd be passing that along for real...)

Great macro shots. I am glad it is not that cold at my house today:) I used a company called VIO VIO to print scrapbook pages, they do books to. The quality was really nice.

Wonderful shots.

I've used shutterfly for my personal album. It turned out really good and was around $100 for a 12x12 leather bound album with 70ish pages.

My goal is to make a album each year with those prints. Kinda like Kelle Hamton. Here is one of her albums: http://www.kellehampton.com/2010/04/it-is-finished.html

She does a really good job. :)

Wow! These are amazing!

I've used Snapfish. They are good, not amazing, quality but I've gotten good deals on them.

Love your photos. The details of the ice are so pretty. It made me cold just looking at them. Glad warmer weather is on it's way.

Amazing shots!

For photo books, I have used Shutterfly - very good quality. And I have used Artscow. Mainly because they are cheap. :) They have specials all the time for free books - all you pay is shipping.

Love these shots! The second one is amazing!
